When we lived in Baltimore, David worked with mentally handicapped adults. He worked personally with a gentleman for 7 years there. He and I both grew attached to him and became good friends with his mother. Before we moved, she asked that David and I take over as Robert’s Trustees when she passes. About two weeks ago Roberts mother passed away due to a Heart Attack. David went up to Baltimore and got Robert settled into emergency group housing because at the current moment Robert has a full time job working with a lawn care company that does the ground work for BWI Airport, has medical insurance and is setup in the MD State system for the mentally disabled. We figured it’d be best not to uproot any of that till we could get him established into the Florida State system.

We were notified last week by Roberts Case Worker for Disability Coordination in Maryland that she had contacted the agency here in Florida and had forwarded all of Robert’s records. So we thought that now we could move Robert down here…not so, we found out yesterday that the place we need to work with here in Florida is the Association for the Developmentally Disabled. They informed us that there is a waiting list with over 17,000 people on it awaiting services from the State of Florida. WTF? Are you kidding me?

The agency representative told us that it could take a very long time to get Robert any assistance, and that we should try to get with Social Service and Social Security to see what they can provide to Robert. I don’t know where or how to go about any of this, talk about stressful – UGH! Do we contact these places in Maryland where Robert is currently living before we move him or do we contact them here in Florida? Do we do any of this while he’s still there in Maryland or can we move him 1st? If we move him he’s got no medical benefits and no income? UGH!

Any guidance from the “FAMILY TREE” here would be appreciated, thanks guys.

Hey guys,

So again, after the headache of looking for and buying a house, David and I now own our 1st home together in 15 years. YEAH! No more renting. May 1st we got the keys, and although it's only September 5-mos. we've gutted and redone the kitchen, painted everything in here possible and gotten alot of our things thrown away that we no longer need. We've always had huge homes (rentals) and although this one is sizeable enough (1300) sq for the both of us, we did have to downsize. There are closets in every room and the master has a walk in and I still have clothes in suitcases. Even after donating alot of them.

Our extracurricular activities now include (boyz...always boyz, and motorcycles). David & I both have motorcycles now. I don't remember how to post photo's here, but I'll muddle thru how to attach files and show you all pics of the bikes, us and our new house.

sorry about not finishing...new Dare from verizon...still getting used to it. Anyway...so after some bickering with Prudential we transferre our lease to a 250,000 house on the beach side of town. Now-the house wa also on the market for sale at 315,000 - nice house, but not for that price so we decided to take the lease thinking that it wouldnt get any activity because of the price...well...the same week we moved in, the owner dropped the price to 245,000 and turned the house over to the bank for a quick sell. Now david n I have had it with renting/moving...1st-Baltimore to Florida, then from the 1st rental to this beach house and now this on was going to sell, so we decide its time to buy, easy right. NO! Between realtors, financing, deciding what we wanted to purchase-new, older, land to build on or modular, square footage, ammenaties, fencing, neighborhoods, dealing with davids father who has more money then he knows what to do with, trying to influence what we chose, etc...it was definately rough. On top of all this, I had a heart attack yes at age 34. Jessie-my female jack russell nearly paralyzes herself, Jake my other jack russell is going blind, my mother who chose to stay alone in Baltimo worries mo. will finish post number 3 tonite...miss you all

Where do I start...last July david and I made a real hasty decision to move to Florida so he could be closer to his family. So much has changed. We have moved 3 times since arriving here. The 1st-The ouse we rented via the internet from Prudential Realty...big, open floor plan, spacious yard for the pups, huge patio for partying...come November we start noticing mildesw smells. 40 feet of pipe has burst underneath the house and has been stagnant there for months....yeah...ewh!! Here is when I find out that prudential is just the property mgmt company and the owners have to weigh in...the owners...8 Middle Eastern DRs... their option...to give us keys to another property for watr/shower facilities...across town. Yep, my homo twin from Baltimore City came out. a

We've finally gotten settled. David and I are now living in Panama City, Florida. We have 3 special friends (David, Michael & Kim) that came down with us for the week to help get us settled. Both of us start our new jobs this coming Monday.

Look for me to jump back into my daily posts in about a week once I get into a routine.

The doctor officially released me yesterday, so I'm back to work full time. I don't know if that is a good thing or bad thing yet.. So far today, I have totally dropped the ball on a few things that came crashing down as I entered the working world again this morning.. No I'm already NOT in a good mood.

But in better news.. I'm good to go. My issue has been fixed permanently! WAHOOO!@!!

Just want to say hi and that I missed chatting with all of you. My surgery went ok..still healing. Last week I worked at home some trying to build up my body where it would situp at a desk for a few hours a day. This week I'm actually doing it from my office at work. I don't see the doc again until the 28th of this month so I am not fully released yet.

I'll try and gradually catchup on all the posts, but for now.. HUGS to everyone.

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know that I'm still alive. I want to apologize to alot of you for not responding to emails and blogs for the past few months. I've truly been sidetracked. Recently, I've been 'mentally' going thru something that has effected me for about 15 or so years. Last month I decided to make up my mind and go ahead with a surgery that is pretty serious from my perspective, but elective non the less. DON'T WORRY! I'm not DYING, I don't have cancer, or a tumor, or abnormal growths, or anything that major! Just a physical issues that has affected me for so long, that was caused by a surgery done to me while I was in the Navy in the early 90s. In the last month or so I've seen my doctor and 3 different specialists besides the one specialist that I've dealt with for close to 5 years now.

There are some of you on here who know me on a more personal level and are aware of my issue, but not my decision to go ahead with this surgery, so please accept my apologies now for not notifying you in some other way. This was a decision that I had to make on my own. It was even alittle surprising to my hubby. So, Thursday morning I go under the knive (literally) and with lots of luck and time, I'll be 100%, compared to my 70% now. I'm hopeful that the outcome of this surgery will improve me not only physically, but emotionally as well.

If any of you want to know more you have my addey!

Love ya's all!

Brian

OK since bowling starts up again tonight for it's second half, I got to thinking...

Our team consists of me, the hubby and ..someone here on LJ who shall remain nameless unless he chooses to explain himself!!. LAST SEASON about midway thru, this unknown person said that he was going to design us a LOGO for our bowling shirts... so tonight we start backup for the 2nd half and we're still wearing a modgepodge of mixed and sometimes matching shirts.. but still nothing with a logo.

So our Team Name is Bears Bowl Better Be-sodden By Beer (check my spelling of besodden) or for the bowling monitors to conserve space it's B.B.B.B.B.B. So I am asking those digital gods out there on my friends list to please design something for our bowling league..I'll compensate..cash, porn, me, dinner, sex, etc... I'm picturing Bears, Bowling Balls, Bowlings Pins and of course BEER!!! But I don't have a clue how to design CRAPOLA. HEP ME HEP ME HEP ME!!

:( Sorry o'nameless LJ and bowling buddy... maybe you'll get your's done before oh lets see..Flirtcub, STPBear, etc, etc, etc..

:) Love ya you know I do!!!

I know this is early, but I didn't want to forget to post tomorrow. I hope that each and every one of you has a very wonderful Christmas celebration (of if you don't celebrate Christmas, that you have a wonder Holiday season. The hubby's family is still here and will be leaving tomorrow sometime. We've had a blast all week. We've done NJ, NY, DC, MD and some of VA while they were here.

We loaded all our camera immages today and have a total of 312. So besides this one, the rest will be coming out soon..

Love ya'

Well lets see...busy w/XMAS shopping for the family coming up in 2 weeks. David's Lesbian sister and lover are coming up from Florida along with his monther. We're going to NYC (12/16-12/19), then stopping off in Atlanic City till that Friday (12/22). The house is really getting decorated this year. So far, the banister has been decked out w/lights and garland, the entryways into the dining room, both living rooms and the sun room have as well. Tonight we're supposed to finish decorating the tree.

Also going on is the LAPTOP issues..been on the fritz...won't bootup past a black screen.. FLUMMOXLUMMOX (scott) is gonna try and take another crack at fixing it tonight... As most of you know, the hubby is going stir crazy cause he can't wank off w/yahoo chat till this is fixed..LOL.

So what do I do when the laptop is broken..BUY A NEW DESKTOP From QVC/DELL...LOL...

Intel Core 2 Duo processor E6300
20" diagonal widescreen monitor (THIS MONITOR ROCKS!)
2GB dual-channel DDR2 SDRAM
320GB SATA hard drive
16X DVD-ROM drive
16X DVD+/-RW drive
13-in-1 media card reader
256MB nVidia GeForce 7300LE graphics
integrated audio
Dell AS501PA flat-panel speakers
USB keyboard
optical USB mouse
10/100 NIC
56K modem
Microsoft Windows Media Center Edition 2005
Microsoft Works 8.0
Adobe Acrobat Reader

And, according to Scott it's a little overkill for someone who only plays COH, but F'IT .. I wanted it. Should have bought a new laptop instead cause there is really nothing wrong with my Desktop but it's XMAS and he just got a COBRA NAVIGATION Tingy for the truck so there! :p

Hope you all are enjoying to days... Miss some of you, still wanna MEAT the rest of ya! WOOFS

This day will not freaking end... If I had any remaining vacation time left to me I'd just freaking go home...but...nope!~ It's so quiet in here I could scream, nobody's here to talk too and not one other 'mo either... I was thinking maybe a little slap-N-tickle in some departed office for the holidays, but alas, I'm left to entertain myself.

Well things are really the same here with me. Just been trying to stay busy @home and save $$$.

The Basement still floods when we get more then 1/2 of rain, so for the past two days, I've been shopvac-ing up water...ugh. Cause the hubby doesn't have time, he's GOTTA get on Gay.com and Yahoo Chat as soon as he gets home to C-M, but neglects to see the fucking water all over the basement floor!!!!! ANYWAY!~

We're in Deep Clean mode at home, David's Mother, his sister and her lesbian lova' are coming up for XMAS, so he's excited. We've got the spare bedroom cleanup/out, the Sunroom/Computer room is now dusted and organized...(FINALLY). The Entranceway carpet and stairs have been ripped up and I need to apply a good coat of wax, otherwise thats good. Getting really excited about them coming up we're going to NYC for 4 days, then Atlantic City for 2 and then we'll be back home...they fly out XMAS day so the week before we'll be busy.... Still need to do the windows and dust everything else, but maybe I can find a hot daddy to do it naked for me.. I need some amusement of my own.

Our 2nd Dining room we converted to a pooltable, dartboard, slotmachine room...anyone (in the area of baltimore want want a pooltable, dartboard, or electronic slot machine??? I'm over it.

That leaves the basement to tackle....I have a metal bar running the entire length of our basement with clothes...On another standing RubixCube looking rack I have more clothes...but with the basement flooding so much now, It's time to move the clothes upstairs..cause of possible mold...I'm totally dreading that, but it's got to be done.

The Landlord is finally installing a new Oven today (It's been almost 6 weeks). Don't EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THIS OLD FUCKING TROLL> "Are you sure you need the oven, most people just cook on Sundays">>>WTF?? I know your 81, but are you KIDDING ME!! You really only cook on Sunday.. OK FINE, but I need an over to do it,...UGH~!

The hubby and I are planning something for 2007, not ready to talk about it much yet, but when we finalize some things, I'll let you know.

Hi everyone, hope everybody's having a good monday>

This weekend, the hubby and I went out for Drinks/Dinner with friends on Friday nite. And managed to misplace 2 friends after dinner. (...don't know where ya disappeared to Scott, but I hope it was fun)...While at dinner we were wayyyyy too obnoxious to both the other people around us and the waitstaff. But who cared we were all pretty much drunk!

Sat - woke up with a KILLER Headache. For a 33 year old man I can't take the partying anylonger. David and I took his client (he works with mentally handicapped adults) out shopping food, new workboots - did you know that redwing shoes has some fucking HOT ASSED SHOPPERS!! WOOF WOOF WOOF)..anyway... then WallyWorld and Sams Club. Afterwards we went home, watched The Breakup (sorry Jenn fans - that movie sucked ass!) around 9 we got showered, the hubby got cleaned up and headed to a FF party... Damnit I was a total top again... I hate FF parties...everyone's only interested in my hands...now I'm working on 5 weeks since I've had any...oh well such is life.

Sunday woke up around 9, cleaned up the computer room, paid some bills, cleaned the dining room and kitchen, then headed over to Robert's house again cause Halloween is his birthday and his mom wanted to do a little party for him earlier. Got home around 5:30, watched Fast & Furious III - Tokyo Drift.. I liked it. By this time the hubby is already asleep, so went' to bed..

Did my week truly end? I don't feel like it. Now it's monday and I'm at it again. Bowling tonight...and I'm sure with Scott and Kim around we'll all end up drunk again.

Hi boyz

It's been awhile again, I started my new position Thursday of last week and I've been running non-stop ever since. My boss is working from our DC offices today so I have a little time to "chat" and I wanted to send out this update. I'm am absolutely loving my new job. No where near the amount of stress I had in my other position but at the same time i'm involved with quite a bit more stuff.

On top of that Cyberbears.com is here doing filming and I've had almost no sleep in the past 3 days... they leave on Saturday so instead of catching up on my City of Heroes game play, i'll be sleeping :(

I hope everyone had a HAPPY MONDAY, an exciting HUMPDAY WEDNESDAY and has a wonderful weekend. TTYL

Hi everyone,

I want to apologize for not responding to many (if not any) posts here. There past couple of months I just felt the need to distance myself from alot of things. And although I read quit a few of the posts by all of you, I just have not responded. I'm sorry.

If any of you remember a prior post from me about needing something to change, I have now accepted a new position within my current company, BlueCross BlueShield of Maryland.

In two weeks I am now going to be the Executive Project Support Analyst for the Vice President of Business Process. I have worked in my current area for 9 years now and it was time to move one. Things here have been getting very stagnant and I needed a change. And amazingly after I was offered the position, my attitude immediately changed. I am happier now, could care less about my current department and I feel a since of importance about myself again.

SO please everyone accept my very very belated, Happy Birthday's... Happy HumpDays and Thirsty Thursday's.

Be Good or Be Good At It...

Love ya all!

Brian
